We love this image – Ice has a way of forming highly interesting shapes – and this image captured by Joanna from Sweden really captured our imagination with its geometry and interesting shifting forms.

This up-close picture of some flora by Cheryl conjures up images of alien plants – or even life-forms. Due to the close-up shot and the grayscale filter, this could easily be a microscopic image of a new form of alien life! Great work.

A picture of the sky on earth, run through a filter that adjusted the colours has given us this magnificent image of an alien sky – or possibly some nebula. It really captured that sense of exploration of setting foot on an alien world and looking up at the sky for the first time.

You could be forgiven for thinking that this image was a celestial body or some sort of new species of bacteria under a microscope – when we saw that this was actually a poppadom we just fell in love with the creativity of this ‘Lockdown’ artwork.

Another Highly inventive shot from Anton in Canada who noticed that the aftermath of his Lockdown bread-baking spree revealed this image which has a nebulous appearance. Another great effort and ingenious use of the mundane to capture our imaginations. Well done!
