How to join the party

Founding day is almost upon us! That’s right. It’s going to be Asgardia’s Birthday and Nation Builders are going to be holding a celebration that you’re invited to! This will be the first Virtual Reality concert in Asgardia’s history so we hope that you’ll come along and help us make history.

The Key Facts

• Party will take place in AltspaceVR. Get it here!
  • AltspaceVR is available for HTC Vive, Oculus, Windows Mixed Reality and Windows PC
  • For those who aren’t able to attend directly in Altspace VR’s client, we will also be streaming it live on Twitch/YouTube
• Party will take place on October 12th at 8pm UTC and will run for approximately 1 hour!
• An invitation link will be posted closer to the time.
• Clicking the link will allow you to join the party!
• The Party will also be recorded to share with Asgardia.

Virtual Reality Venue

In the spirit of our digital nation, and given the current pandemic that is sweeping the world, Nation Builders have decided to embrace Virtual Reality. We’re going to be holding our party in AltspaceVR. 

As well as a large dance floor and scenes of a beautiful nebula, the venue will have fireworks, Snowballs, party-hats, glow-rods and a basketball hoop to help keep you entertained throughout the night!

As well as all this, guests of the event will be able to chat with one another using the built-in voice-chat – but you may need to raise your voices over the epic Asgardian music if you get too close to the sound! 😀

Futuristic Music

Founding Day is as much a celebration of the future as it is of the founding of the Nation. To mark this, we’ll be playing some awesome futuristic music from the Cyberpunk and Dark Synthwave electronic music genres to underpin the sentiment of the party.
